The Pearls of my Native Land

We are lucky to live on the land called Belarus. One of the poets called it "The Land Beneath White Wings".
It is really one of  the most beautiful countries in the world. It is covered with nice forests, trees and flowers. There are many beautiful rivers and lakes  there.Hard-working and hospitable people live in Belarus.
Our  Svisloch District is a jewel in the crown of our country radiating its own unique light.
The predominent colour of this light is green bеcause of centuries -old forests ,the Belavezhskaya Pushcha. It greets you in the western part of our district.
Historically, Svislach has been mostly associated with Svislach Pushcha  since Tyszkewiczs times.
The forest belonged to Antoni Kazimierz Tyszkewicz, a General of the Lithuanian Army.

Porozovo is the second largest village in Svislach district. It was founded in the 15-th century.About 1200 people live there. Our village is the birthplace of pottery. There are some places of interest in our native place-Roman Catholic Church, the family estate in Bogudenki, the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church.
Hard -working and friendly people live there.
